"The General" is a very nice buck with good lines as seen below. He is solid black except a small white patch under one front leg. He has nice blue eyes. He gave us 2 very colorful doelings last spring and a doeling/buckling pair this spring. Two of the four have inherited his blue eyes. We have to sell him so that we can introduce some new genetics next year (too many of our does are related to him). We would prefer that he goes to experienced goat handlers. Bucks do not make good pets and are not good for first time goat owners.
This is Ivy Gables OB The General, a registered 1st generation Mini-Alpine buck.

Miniature Alpine goats are a "designer" breed that is created by breeding a Nigerian Dwarf buck with an Alpine doe. We breed for the look of Alpine but in a smaller size that is easier to handle on a family farm. We are also breeding for excellent milk productivity, good sized udder and creamy milk. This is a developing breed and our goats are registered with the Miniature Dairy Goat Association (MDGA).
